That’s my issue. When typically they best songs are never even released as singles (Poltergeist, Godless, etc.) 

 

I know this album will grow on me I was just expecting more.

This album is so good! The ballads are my favorites right now especially Burn and Birds by the Sea. F**k Love is also amazing.

Burn and Birds by the Sea are the best and most BANKS songs on the album. I love them. I'm still not fond of this album at all lol

 

I hope she gets to release a deluxe for this one, it truly needs some extra songs.

Okay I've given this some time and I do think unfortunately this may be her weakest album. I think for me it goes III > Goddess > The Altar > Serpentina. There are some strong songs on this album but I think even the stronger songs get spoiled by the terrible mixing. Like III was mixed and mastered so beautifully, listening to them in my Nura's is such a treat, but I can't really say the same for this album.

YUP! I kinda never forgave her for going with III instead of Eros

 

Unleavable is a masterpiece. 

 

The last minute. 

There are some gems on this but yes I agree this is probably her weakest effort thus far, but HER MIND... she is definitely capable of returning to her glory.

So glad seeing the Unleavable love cos it’s one of her best ever!

Slowly getting into the album and am mostly sticking with the first half for now (mainly the run from "Meteorite" to "Burn"). I'm really enjoying it so far.

 

I will say the album took a few times to "get," as I assume all of the choices re: the vocal production were intentional but they don't make for an easy first listen. She's always enjoyed playing with her voice which I think is one of the main ways she is growing artistically, but she has such a lovely voice on it's own I do wish we could hear it clearly a little more.

 

"**** Love" is the one at at the moment though. It's HARD.
