This story has absolutely gutted me. 
 

For context: my deceased older brother killed someone in an impaired car accident. 
 

Many people would not understand it on the other foot, but this incredibly young man made a huge mistake that cost people's lives, but he was a kid. A literal child. It's just heartbreaking and I know many would say "justice served!!" But I sympathize so deeply with the teenager, who now has to spend the rest of his life in prison, on top of the conscious that his mistake cost people their lives and it's gonna be agonizing. 
 

I told this story to my mother and she can't stop crying now :(

I wrote an unfunny and non sense joke about Nicki stans always having rectangular Avis (?) and for some reason Hyune attacked me for it and dragged me. Then some random user appeared and agreed with her and wrote an essay about how I'm "always trying to be the best in the class" (?) and said he will continue this after the weekend. I didn't even know how to defend myself 

 

I think it's a good representation on how writing something random can make people mad for no reason, like once I made this thread about Yes, And? and I asked was the song really that bad since it was so hated when it came out and some Ariana stan attacked me for setting her up and lying

It's funny because every joke mocking Nicki would land well here and Hyune is the most unbothered by stan beef here

I think I might have seen that thread  But you were right, pretty sure the general consensus is the song was underwhelming, the gaslighting of it all

There was a couple of Yes, And? threads all asking  if the song deserved better (I think yes because it's a bop) but somehow I got accused of shading Ariana and changing the history  this site is so unserious

Maybe some of these users hold grudges towards you over some of your opinions, I've only now realized this is a thing here as well... I know some would jump at the occasion to drag me if I said something remotely controversial, which is why I rarely create threads even if I want to.

I didn't know who she was until now but I love her. She turned down on a lucrative comeback with her 90s girlband Eternal because two of the members are transphobic.

You might be right. But it's rough. I want to grow a backbone and be fearlessly opinionated outside of these safe spaces but at the same time I don't want to invite negativity and pointless drama because I'm too old for that and I have softened over the years. Finding a middle ground is a struggle
