I can't wait for the Halloween week when I can make every class be about it instead of explaining conditionals and shite.

I saw my Semantics teacher's thesis today and it had +500 pages. Not sure what the average length might be suburban

When an album has the coolest title/cover you've ever seen but you get jumpscared by every subgenre of metal music when you go check its tags...

500+ PAGES? How the hell are they gonna review or supervise that, they wrote a vocabulary, not a thesis rip

I don't wanna imagine the face of the copy shop's owner when they got asked to print it, that's a whole tree

Halfway finishing my Spanish Philology degree. It's taking forever because I'm such a perfectionist but hopefully I'll be done in two years with no more issues. jonny

What about you sis? What is the topic of your thesis?

I've always looked up to anyone that's able to get into humanities, cause the amount of thought-processing it requires to not only get into a philosopher's mentality, but to form one yourself based on it is legit astonishing! I don't know how you all can do it, it drains you like no tomorrow rip

My Master's is an Agrarian one focused exclusively on plants, and my thesis is on the redevelopment of a(n unfortunately) forgotten European tree species! It's been almost two years since I've started it, but it's been absolutely worthy

You're so kind. weeps We're often so looked down upon. Even I did look down on humanities at some point cause in my high school they were seen as lesser. I was always in between science and humanities trying to make them coexist. Wish I had chosen humanities earlier, I wouldn't have lost that much time, looking back.

Your thesis (and Master's) sounds legit fascinating?!?!jonny5 I'd love to know more about all of it. Sounds like you're enjoying the process so you'll probably nail it. Now this is how I imagine you alexz

I always feel like all of our choices lead us to where we are (and have been) supposed to be, no matter how long it takes to get us there. After all, it takes time (and patience and dedication!) to become the person we want to be! And what's great about "failures" is that when you see them for what they actually are: opportunity for change. They are somehow the best life teachers, and that's exactly what happened with you babe! So be proud of what you achieved and are achieving, cause it's all thanks to you hug

Well, I would love for my degree to be like that, but it's more like "Yo, that plant is green and produces FRUITS!"
