No honestly it's time to move on. The tension over some petty musical disagreements is beyond us. We're not always gonna see eye to eye on certain artists and that's fine. I'd much rather focus on the things we have in common than those differences of opinion

Anyways been at the hospital for about 8 hours today keeping my friend company I'm exhausted and I never want to step into one again

I re-listened to VIE yesterday and there are some cute songs on it, but I definitely don't love it as much as Planet Her.
I don't know… I feel like the melodies aren't as strong as some of her past work. It was hard for me to remember them.... I had to listen to some songs like three times.

"Gorgeous" is lovely and really cute, though.

The production is interesting, but I've heard so many '80s-influenced albums in the last few years that nothing here really shocked me.
Even with the new jack swing influence, I was like… "Okay, I've heard this before."

I don't want to trash the record, because she did show some evolution with more mature themes, and some fans love it a lot.... but I just don't think it was executed well.

Doja Cat is someone very mysterious, and even if she leans into the "evil" persona sometimes, she has a magnetic, hot personality.
Jack Antonoff, on the other hand, is just too bland  like straight unflavored rice crispies .....and I think Doja deserves producers who push her creatively.
