I really thought they would go out with one last mega smash era  They didnt release a full album since 2020 and that was like a 7 track album
Would have made more sense to release a full album now and then the compilation album later this year 
Oh well maybe they will finally release their first good music since 2018 once they comeback 

kpop fans are so delusional, bts no matter how much I dislike them, is an anomaly that cannot be replicated at least not in the next 30 years(to understate) by any kpop group. So stop dreaming whatever you are dreaming of, because kpop will be at its 20th generation and I doubt there will be any other kpop act seeing their achievements even at that point.

i listened to their discography a while back and it's not really the same, i like their music but i'm a kpop fans and used to "noisy" stuff

the closest bts titles to what stray kids are doing now were idol and fire but they always had their more trend-hopping mainstream sound like bst with tropical house and fake love with emo hiphop. if they did back to back titles like idol they wouldn't be nearly as popular as they are now

bts' self love concepts was prevalent in the whole era not just one or two songs like stray kids

and armys have experienced all that authentic self-produced relatable idol thing in the best way with bts, i doubt they would want a repeat of that with another group
