BoTS hiatus is a smart business move. They clearly peaked, a hiatus is a good way to give them a narrative for the eventual comeback.

I'm intrigued to see how they'll do as solo acts. I really don't see any of them getting solo hits of their own, but anything is possible :cm:

The best part about BTS hiatus is that this presents more opportunities for other acts! Their 40min stages at year end shows are now up for grabs! Hopefully this can be shared among different artists

Its a great song but America wont touch that and you know it. They should re-release Whistle in English with Cardi B and send it to radios. A multi-#1 waiting to happen

Lets clap for that!

Jungkook solo has so much potential. Jungkook Bieber is coming :jonny: but he might disappoint and give us Jungkook Mahone! We will anticipate

i'm curious to see which group will benefit the most from bts' hiatus tbh  :coffee:

It could be the combination of Army grew older and BTS themselves was not as passionate as before due to being in the Kpop industry and working nonstop for 9 years without any significant hiatus period for them to rest.

I'm pretty sure their solos are going to be crazy successful! Junkook is still 24 and V 26, their solo careers looks promising

You know damn well SM is about to shove the entirety of NCT in there unfortunately for the audience

Aespa born and went into stardom during Blackpink Hiatus.

Maybe the next big BG hasn't debuted yet, or Treasure/Enhypen will take the crown now.

The remake of 1D lol. I don’t think it was a good idea to take a hiatus after a flop. Should have left with a smash hit or start their solo career earlier like Exo and BP did!

Now I wonder who’s going to be the Harry of the group.

If Suga is not enlisting he’s going to be the most successful one in SK or maybe Jimin, Filter did good there.

V will mostly focus on acting and modeling.

JK is going to be the Korean JB. He already filmed his collab with Charlie Puth.

And like that, BP will now be the biggest Kpop group (once they comeback) :duca:

Most likely one of top 4th gen BGs like Stray Kids, TXT, Treasure, Enhypen or The Boyz

hope hybe ends up being dsp'd

they don't deserve to thrive after what they did to bts, making them do everything but the music they wanted to do for years to the point they just got tired of it all

Stray Kids and TXT i think? Stray Kids have been making lots of noise overseas being the 2nd most streamed BG on Spotify rn. Their behind BTS when it came to the biggest day streams of 2022.

As a casual listener of these groups, my money is on Stray Kids. They need less noise and better concepts, though. TXT and Enhypen have the better music/concepts but I feel like those groups are a bit boring in their variety content.

i honestly don’t think any group will replace BTS, i feel the same way about BP as well but who knows :michael:

BTS is quite literally the face of Kpop, all I see right now is kpop's popularity nose-diving, there's just no way any other group will be able to pull half of what BTS are tbh... :emofish:

they won't, these boy group stans are delusional

txt and enhypen are some of the most boring groups ever and stray kids and nct music is too polarizing for mainstream success

V seems like he is dumb, I see him leaving HYBE and joining YG and have his Edawn/Hyuna moment with Jennifer.
