Big Bang and YG were able to fooled the public into thinking Big Bang are some kind of musical genius but in reality their music are basically carbon copy of American pop music. There's a reason why Big Bang and 2ne1 music are extremely outdated.

Big Bang have no musical impact in today's Kpop industry because they never took risk or innovative. They borrowed a lot from American pop and left no musical identity.

Hmmm at the end of the day SNSD are respected and have a huge legacy too. Although they might’ve not been seen as musicians the cultural impact that they’ve had in Korea through all forms of media is second to none tbh. Definitely the peak popularity a Kpop group can get in Korea.
