with the way k-pop is going, this will likely NEVER be snatched as the greatest k-pop song of all time :jonny5:

“Has beens” serving a Certified hit Single and Album on every chart today:deadbanana4: the First & Only Girl group with A Top 5 Hit Song and album in 3 different decades. :coffee:

Digitally SNSD’s Leader is still carrying SM entire company. As well as being apart of 3 Major Successful Projects this year. GG still selling 300k Physicals, This Year. And are all Variety record breaking viewers, this Year. Forever 1 is gonna end up charting higher on the Year End Chart list then most of the songs that came out this summer. not Bad for some Has Been’s??

I know they were insanely successful but I’m actually doubtful if we’ll ever get another GOT release

Step Back was a moment, the line up alone is iconic:cm: The song being weird is a kii but when SM decided to have an iconic girl power moment with a song like Wow Thing and an Incredible line up full of beautiful talented women, you all let it flop, so... SB is deserved.

If it was a traditionally good song, it wouldn’t be as memorable idk they really tried to go as weird as possible not repeat any of their old GG concepts which I can respect compared to what YG does with BP.

truly a rare instance of SM’s arrogance to release total noise paying off

Yeah I assume we might get a performance dance unit. But yeah it seems SM wasn’t really sure what to do with the group really

I hope BP drop a dual titles for the album release week - a sexy concept Korean title and a Max Martin produced full English song, both with videos and release simultaneously.
Imagine the collapse and how many army will get a stroke?  :giraffe: I know this is abit of a stretch but can a beeetch just dream?

The way girl groups are taking over everything except music shows.

  • sbsmtheshow.e307: Craxy, Tri.Be, Ive, Chae Eunjung, Park Boram, Kim Chaewon, DKB, BAE173, CIX, Blank2y, Luminous, ATBO, Blitzers, Isaac Hong, Ulala Session, Hong Daekwang

The more things change, the more that 7:3 ratio remains the same.

They don’t deserve it but they really know how to do GG music RIGHT.

So…I’m bored so lemme break it down hihi.

from 3rd gen-

all members of BP

2 members of Twice- Nayeon, Jeongyeon

3 of RV- Irene, Joy, Wendy

2 of Mamamoo - Hwasa, Wheein

1 of Oh My Girl - Arin

4th gen-

3 of IVE - Wonyoung, Yujin, Leeseo

3 of aespa - Karina, Winter, NingNing

3 of ITZY - Yuna, Ryujin, Chaeryoung

3 of Gidle- Soyeon, Minnie, Miyeon

2 of Lesserafim - Chaewon, Kazuha

2 of fromis_9 - Jang Gyuri, Lee Chaeyoung

1 of Nmixx - Sullyoon

1 of Billlie - Tsuki

4th gen girlies taking over.

also worth noting that there are 5 ex-IZ*ONE members on this list without counting the IVE and LSRFM members. The way that temporary group birthed so many popular girls :rip:

And yeah 7 out of 8 members of SNSD :deadbanana2:

Ooh nice I'm not too well versed in Gen 4 girlies so I didn't know the majority of them. Izone did the job well done for these girls, definitely put them on the map. Ex-IOI also did well, a few members are there as well like Sejeong and Somi.

But yep with increasing interest in 4th gen girls, the explosion of their album sales, Love Dive and Tomboy outdoing FMR, and now Attention and After Like blocking Pink Venom, I think it's safe to say the 3rd gen reign about to be over. The shift is happening already

I wish the 4th gen boygroups get a move on too, start being better than bots and co.

Key's album is so ******* good :jonny5: I was scared it would be a decline for him after Proud and Gasoline (live) sounded mediocre, but the bsides are literally fantastic.

Ian Kirkpatrick and Sarah Hudson on the credits, his Future Nostalgia :clap3:

what do we think is the best ballad from SM this year girlies? need my snooze recs
