and the "Blink are insecure" narrative is tired and boring

if you hoes come for BP we're supposed to sit quietly and ignore it? PLEASE

your favs are gonna get checked each and every time

if the replicas stans didn't open their mouths and get brave about BP we wouldn't be here. Period

I've made it pretty clear how I feel about Blackpink from a musical standpoint in the past but every time I see a gif or video of them from Coachella I'm reminded how much I love those performances. So, so good. And they looked like they were having so much fun too. I wish we could get more of that in k-pop, though I guess it wouldn't be as special if it wasn't a one off.

I only watched a little bit of aespa's set but they seemed like they did fine, I don't really understand what the controversy is about. It's no secret that they're not really live performers and don't have a lot of experience so idk what people really expected. It wasn't bad so literally what is everyone arguing for :deadbanana:

The way the dance practice has cannibalized the music videos views :toofunny2: Doesn't the dance practice video gain views slightly faster than the MV one as well? Meaning that at some point we might see its viewcount go past the MV viewcount?

See, when you do :clown: ****, it comes back to bite

2NE1 and CL perched at #1 & #2...meanwhile the replicas are forever #2

they couldn't even beat a disbanded group, but ya'll worried about them overtaking BP?! :deadbanana2:

aespa did well considering it’s their first live performance (and in front of a big crowd) and they didn’t have much time to prepare. BP’s performance was amazing and they totally slayed it, it’s a historic moment that no one can take away from them:clap3:

stop the drama, start the music

Aespa confirmed to be more relevant and talked about than Harry Styles, Doja Cat, Justin Bieber, Megan Thee Stallion, and Billie Eilish COMBINED since apparently this chart matters or something :toofunny2:

eek, this!  the rest of atrl told me dojachella was the performance to be beat this year, so the fact that aespa's 10 minute set caused more conversation is incredible:clap3:

thanks, mel!

The only ones arguing are the bitter parties on both sides. Everyone else is literally acknowledging the good in both BP and aespa’s performances.

but anyway, I think BP’s performance was also elevated by the fact that they were already a little known globally before Coachella and had some global hits so the crowd hyping them up kinda gave them more fuel and confidence. Meanwhile aespa was a brand new group whose only exposure to the west before that was a Thanksgiving parade disaster. The girls still did fine despite the lukewarm welcome so they should be proud.

this, was never a fan of Blackpink live perfs because I was a 2ne1 stan and we all know 2NE1 slays LIVE PERF

but Coachella was something else, they gave their all!

Why don't you take up gardening instead or something. Or maybe stamp collecting?

Surely a more fulfilling pastime than getting mad every time aespa succeeds, which at the moment, is all the time. :fan:

but almost every MY n here has acknowledged that bpchella was a huge moment and great performance though :duck:

i've seen nothing but positivity from every MY and sm fan on this page yet blinks and trolls (the couple jyp stans aligning themselves with them the other day :biblio: ) keep flogging this dead horse and keeping the beef going

No one even mentioned BP's Coachella performance much really. It's only coming up because blinks keep inserting it into the conversation and constantly comparing.

Most people are just trying to enjoy aespa's moment but some people are choosing to flood the thread with fumes, fake news and negativity. It's sad.

King Justin was a surprise appearance doing Peaches. Do not include him in this! Continue to drag the other nobodies tho :fan:

Havent visited this thread in weeks / months and the same users are still having meltdowns over aespa.

I suggest going outside and touching grass. :celestial2:
