Oh wow, I had no idea  That's so cool! I didn't know Sophie had worked with any Japanese artists!

Well 2010's Namie was going through a phase of singing only in English (even tho she doesn't really speak it) and hustling for demos from western producers like David Guetta… idk, something was up at home ig.

The only thing I would've changed is adding a rock number, either concentration 20 or it's all about you, but the latter would be polarizing.

Mariya Takeuchi's new album is doing well, I didn't see its first day numbers, but she's probably going to outsell Kana despite having a career three times as long. At least one of @Maresia's faves isn't flopping to the pits

129k for miss Mariya, a very respectable number for a non-best of album I guess when Japan views you as a "real artist", they'll keep tuning in even when you're like 70.

I thought each selection was a good helping of their careers from start to finish, so it's not Suilen's fault Namie learned how to sing in key only halfway through ha career

 

And besides, any of these legends could still win since there are great songs in each list  Ayumi's is the only list without a weak song imo, but someone else will be getting my 11

People are free to drag Himawari because it's produced by TK and every time he's dragged is a win for me
