I looked up the theories and some are absurd...like the Dubai one..Jelena didn't spend a single news year together since 2013...even when they were together they would always break up before the holidays...nobody needed take her to Dubai for them be apart. even on 2017/2018 Selena jumped on a plane with her friends for the holidays and JB just got there at the end of the trip

I don't think Gigi is like that. I mean, she was dating Joe Jonas when she was close to Taylor and even went on double dates. Unless she still has feelings for him. My issue with that is that Zayn was an ass to both Perrie and Gigi (if the rumors are true)

With Bella it's different, because Abel was the only man Bella has been truly interested in.

Isn't Evelyn Hugo a red head and isn't Jessica Chastain rumored to play her older version? I don't think Selena would fit

for the Taylor thing fans of Evelyn Hugo book are batshit crazy. I wouldn’t mind if it’s something but not the lead characters. Hulu will also adapt Malibu Rising so she could be linked to that.
 

Anyways I doubt Taylor would follow her if she was casted, it’s supposed to be kept under wraps. Maybe she just followed her because of the drama.

Evelyn has brown hair, then she goes blonde. Her character is like the opposite SG. So it would be such a challenge play a Hollywood diva for the anti-stardom, anti-glamour, kill em with kindness Selena. So it could either go great or very bad

OMITB was the perfect comeback to the acting industry, but now  she needs to try new things imo.

 

Selena needs different roles, something out of her confort zone.
