I dont recall NOT EVEN ONCE HER SAYING ANYTHING on not liking to tour.

 

And touring is 80% of artists income as musicians.

The last time HDD hinted at Rihanna releasing any music was in 2019 - and that was the year she was originally planning to release R9 however it was scrapped due to her break-up with Hassan, mostly, and how that affected her plays the deadlines she had with her major brands. 
 

HDD haven’t hinted her releasing music since then (because she wasn’t planning on releasing aby the last few years) and only done so last month when she announced the superbowl and they would be correct. She is LITERALLY gearing up to release R9 very soon. The HTS + multiple studio visits and meetings with her music managers attest to that. 
 

I don’t know what else we want. 

the article is implying she’s gonna do a mini touring residency like Harry did. so it’s not like a traditional tour with tons of traveling, she’ll be settled in these cities for a decent amount of time. think 5-15 shows per city

 

also implies she might be the debut artist at a new state of the art arena in LA.

Wbk Rihanna isn’t a fan of touring. But with her doing the SB it would be weird to not tour or release new music to capitalize on the hype. 

I can see her doing stadiums only in major cities like NYC, LA, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta etc.

I'm going to hope that they don't waste this. She clearly doesn't have to tour extensively and doesn't need that kind of money with her business ventures, but I want a worldwide stadium tour.

Listen, I’m in therapy so I’ve learned different coping mechanisms.

 

She truly did torture us, psychologically. The way we don’t even have faith in reliable sources anymore… but we need to let the trauma go.

Yeah I remember that. Ugh Hassan sweaty couldn't you have kept satisfying her vajay for a few more months until we had R9 on our devices

When you put the last several years into perspective it makes sense why she hasn’t released music. 
 

I do believe she was planning to release R9 in 2019, like she said she was and several times that year at that, however they broke up, she lost inspiration and the music/release dates were put in the back bench. At the time she was committed to her multiple brands and humanitarian efforts and trying to make them a success which, in itself, took a lot of work and she couldn’t fully focus on the music. She went to the studio every so often though so perhaps she was trying to figure out her vibe again. 
 

She then reevaluated her life and found love in Rocky. They had a child. Now I think she’s found inspiration again and has been planning her comeback for a while. 
 

Also, Rih said that we’ll know when she’s releasing music as everything will happen all at once. Well…
