Almost a year after LMU, I've been wondering - do we know why there's no new music for so long? I know Rih's been busy with Fenty and her son but these are just guesses. Do we have anything official from Rih/her team?

Oh and congrats on page 460 

I don't even think Rihanna knows what's going on with new music.

Too Good - is now over a billion on Spotify and I'm sure it is at least 6xPlatinum (officially 3xPlatinum)

Work - is 9xPlatinum (and should be diamond)

I'm still have the opinion that Rihanna should take her time with music, but I'm starting to think that she needs to say something about music, what is going on right now. 

 

I know it's not Rihannas fault when the news dropped about a potential tour in 2024/2025 and in the end it was made clear, that this information is bogus that a tour isn't in the making.

 

But the situation for us is heated and almost all of her fans are frustrated about the current state we are in. We wants to listening to R9, to see her back on stage, giving interviews, shooting videos - Literally EVERYTHING!

 

This would be the right time that Rihanna should make a statement. If she truly have the desire to put out an album. Everything we know is so vague and is definitely not good to left it with our interpretation. 

 

 

The word Soon is so triggering to me now

She has already said multiple times that there wasn’t music in the making, the only thing that she has said that would give us any hint that there was music coming is when she said it would be ridiculous if she didn’t release by the end of the year. But that wasn’t confirmation, and she is queen of being ridiculous  (See: 2019 album release date)

 

Plus she has said SEVERAL times not to listen to any sources unless it is coming directly from her. Like, she does not need to make a statement about no music, she has already said so several times and y’all keep gaslighting yourselves to believe otherwise. She’s not gonna make a statement about the obvious— she’s a new mother and raising a family has always been one of her dreams.

 

Stop disappointing yourselves and enjoy the 8 albums (more than 90% of other girls) she’s given us. They’re full of timeless hits and classics. She could never release again and it would be enough. 

Honeslty the last time she was talking about new music (at the superbowl interviews) I thought it was pretty obvious that there was no music coming, nor was there an album on the way anytime soon

It is not like that at all. Sometimes some informations true or not slipping out and you can't undo that. No matter what and the informations are out there. So it's not like that the navy believe everything what they're reading. I'm not disappointed about that, that a tour isn't in the making but I'm more unhappy about the whole situation we are in overall.

 

Rihanna doesn't communicate with us anymore. This is the problem. I have no problem with that if she wants to take her time with music. She could give us updates about the production. Everything you see from her is about Fenty Beauty and her other brands. We're left with our interpretation what is going on about music no matter if there is progress in the production or to nearing the deadline to put an album out. 

 

There was a time, when she was excited with what she's creating music wise. Making fun games. Music was her passion. Now in this time this is definitely different from what we're used to. She only giving us little glimpses like literally say nothing about her music. She doesn't need an ANTI 2.0. and I think we're all agreeing to that. 

 

I'm thankful for WOO and WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN that she gave us so many hits l truly can't stop to listening to. But it would be very good that she could make a statement what is going on with her music. It would be so honest and we as her navy would be calming down a little bit. She said she wants to put out an album and if she has the desire for it then she should do it. 

 

But I'm starting to think that there's something wrong behind the scenes. I don't know, it's my gut that's telling me this...

I've been waiting patiently, but the lack of new music is starting to be difficult dismiss. Istg if Frank Ocean releases a new album before her, I will lose it.

the only music we’ll get is some lullabies for the smurfs soundtrack which no one would care for. I have lost all hope

Bc she knew she was pregnant. But literally a handful of weeks before the SB we had several sources around the world confirming she was pre-booking concert venues.

 

I think at this point there's two types of Navy: the delulus (like me, believing she was going to release in 2023 but the 2nd pregnancy delayed her plans, and thinking she'll drop in Q1-Q2 2024) and the deniers (there was no music then and there won't be any music anytime soon).
