Honestly this whole Johnny Depp drama is not worrying me one bit. It hasn't really gone mainstream anyways from what I've seen. And what I love about Rih is the fact that she's the kinda girl to give 2 shits about the deranged opinions of twitter gays and girls and stand her ground. Majority of reactions and comments I have seen on social have been very positive

I really hope BB get their numbers correct early next week. Sometimes they do this whole “it’s too close, the charts are delayed until Wesnesday” thing and i’m not going to accept that this time.

Like y'all are so impatient when you should know by now that when Rih hits #1 it's always down the road of a chart run. 

I think she has a way bigger chance of doin it very late rather than early. Especially with a song like this that's the opposite of instant and supported by a movie release that will span months.

The movie will do nothing for it unless it’s an emotional scene that’s adds depth to this boring song .

 

It will likely stabilize when the movie is released but a top 5 peak is more than ok for this song....let's be real, it's not the type of song crafted for streaming

This week is so embarrassing for the fandom. It's just been mess after mess. She really should not have stayed away from music for so long. The climate has changed and it looks she's about to be left behind musically. The fact that she had to resort to fraud and *still* lost is just . She needs to start feeding the public properly (and consistently). I don't think she can afford to take another long break.

If they wanted a hit they should've released a catchier and more public friendly song. They shouldn't have done all those videos tbh... what is the point? And the radio deal.. for WHAT? Use that on an actual smash like wtf.

Yeah this last week was just mess after mess. Truly embarrassing overall. And LMU flopping isn't that big of a deal anyway, but the JD situation is just... i'm not getting over that.  Am still hoping they'll remove him from the show, but Savage x Fenty needs to disappear atp, what an awful brand all around. So upsetting.

I agRih, It would've been akin to the monster (except the monster was actually successful, it just didn't hold a candle to the rest of the number ones sonically). And this doesn't mean its a bad song, but getting a number 1 when its been bombing on most streaming platforms isn't a good look.

Let's stop being ******* stupid, shall we? This is not a song for the charts. Let's not act like this is a typical Rihanna song and it failed. The only embarrassing thing she did this week is the Johnny Depp thing, if it's true.

It’s been confirmed that that is exactly the type of scene the song is a part of in the movie.  

 

The song won’t be done until after the Oscars and the movie stops showing in theaters.
