Yeah, LMU is a good and cute song, it's catchy but it's just not hit material. I haven't played it in days although I've been humming it.  

It's just not comeback material and it kinda took the magic out of Rihanna's big comeback. If it was a more accessible song, it would be getting 10m streams easily rn. 

Yeah she could still do that with R9 but it won't have the feeling of Rihanna's comeback as much.

I really hope R9 lead has a fantastic video ala We Found Love. ANTi videos were so bad. Unapologetic videos weren't anything special either (PIU being the exception) - Diamonds vid was good but so forgettable.

The Anti Diary campaign was so messy but so iconic ♥️ The Key Holder gave me tickets to see her in SF (which i sold because i was not in town and had tickets for NY anyway).

I refuse to believe she went to different recording studios for a month only to record Lift Me Up and Born Again  there's something more, otherwise there wouldn't be specific rumours about a Glastonbury for example

Well, that’s what happened. My mind on the LMU thread. 

 

Realistically, there is no time between now and the Super Bowl to fit a lead single, even less an album. Lift Me Up being serviced as a full single should have been an indication. 

R9 lead in March/April and album in May/June. Tour in the fall. AndThat’sSincerelyCiara.gif
