So I think we are getting solo Normani 100%. If it was just a Fifth Harmony thing, Will (Ally's husband and 5H's manager basically now, ex-Tour manager) is going to lead on that. Lydia would be doing nothing but making sure Normani looks good and gets paid right lol.

The fact Lydia's following list on socials is making movements is nice to see. So she's doing something clearly networking wise for Normani (we hope).

no i'm def not doubting normani dropping this year. i'm just saying i'm also not against fifth harmony as well. i actually think them all going on tour and normani getting a solo set in the show would be great for her because as much as i love mani, idk if she can headline her own tour as this moment so fifth harmony is a good cushion lol.

we can get one return single and a compilation/hits album, then announcing a tour and then solo stuff wouldn't bother me.

Exactly. This would be the smartest idea. Everyone drops their solo stuff, then they collectively attempt an arena tour and take Say Now, GirlSet, and newer girl groups like that with them as opening acts.

It's risky cause those girls are bigger than them currently on charts but maybe nostalgia and some good promo on tv and social media like Jonas Bros did before their tour, gets them across the finish line. Also, dropping a true Fifth Harmony documentary and spilling tea on the worst parts of it like ally did in her book and lauren has done on some interviews.

If not, they should do the type of venues right below an arena that people like Tinashe tour. She's usually able to have a lot on those stages like props and proper visuals. Then just take one of the girl groups with them instead of both.

The other major benefit is they can perform the big chart hit 5H songs, their personal faves, and maybe a mystery song or two for nostalgia. Then, focus on their solo promo performances. No filler on the set lists.

Even if she doesn't have much budget can't she get on magazine covers, post tiktok dances like Tyla and Zara Larson, do choreo for her songs like big boy, build a cult following? gen z would love her

I think this is very smart ….moving her to becoming a reality show star. There are plenty of shows she can do from vh1 to bravo. And she can do fifth harmony on the side if she wants to do music. In this business you gotta know when to pivot and I think after dopamine this is smart. But girl you could have tried to hide your voice better lol…the split gave it away

Yeah she needs to be presenting at the Grammys. At bare min, she needs to appear on the red carpet. Also, some sort of Super Bowl commercial. Then, if they can get the era popping in February, she's set. This could be the first time they properly rolled her out. Just keeping her name out there aggressively for months now.

People are thinking about Normani again. Also if anyone wants to know, Masked Singer is filmed months before so she still has an open schedule now to do a full single/album launch, tour, or whatever.

The new label needs to be smart and force stuff out, don't wait for her little hype to fade. Shein (controversy), Dancing with the Stars, NFL, Fifth Harmony reunion, Masked Singer, potential new record label rumors, her man just in a big controversy too with suspension (for hitting an audience member), now is the perfect single time. We should be using all of this HELLO?

knowing how her team works this is gonna be it for a few months until fifth harmony stuff. I think when she said she has things up her sleeve late last year …this is what she meant. Plus this label stuff I don't think has finalized as much as y'all think it is. She still has RCA as her label and if she was on another label we would have heard something by now. Usually when an artist moves to a new label billboard or hits double daily has the scoops but it's been crickets

It actually makes more sense for her to announce her new label when the music is announced.

It has less impact when announced and connected with nothing.

in some cases when music artists are on the Masked Singer they tend to release new music when they are voted off the show . the finale i think will be in May . if she makes it that far we might have a longer wait.

WAIT, y'all are connecting the dots for me.

Combine these two things and now it makes the most sense that if she is indeed dropping new music (at a new label) then all of that comes AFTER Masked Singer.

Her team already knows when she gets eliminated off the show or if she wins because it's pre-recorded so they can launch her era after that. I completely forgot with Masked Singer you do the promo run after elimination (for obvious reasons).

Also let's discuss the alternative. It makes 100% sense for them to build up Normani's musical clout using Masked Singer performances. Let's say she is just out from RCA BUT still has no record label deal pinned down fully. Lydia/management can use this show as proof she's still got it and help get her a deal too.

Someone on twitter that I think works in the music industry said "Normani is still a free agent" which made me think of that above situation too.
