I want whatever is happening to RAYE to happen to Normani too. The fact that they've been through the exact same label problem too.

To The Hopeless Nation who believe Normani is done. This is a tweet from 2021 where Raye was going through the exact same situation and now she’s number one! No matter how long the journey is I know she will get there because talent always wins and she is one of the most talented artists of our generation. Don’t give up hope simply because of Normani being held back by the label she will have her major breakthrough eventually.

No promo??? She had billboards that was pretty provocative promoting the single. People were taking pictures of them in Hollywood. She created content for social media like the one of her painting in the bikini. She did a performance on Fallon. She did interviews. That’s promo. The only reason it didn’t go further is because the song didn’t have good debut numbers. All this stuff cost money. How each label decides to use money to promote launching a song is up to that specific artists and label. 

Fair sounds like a mediocre ballad/slow tempo next to Insomnia and Someone else 

Fair is the standard. 

Sonically, Fair sounds like a 2010 Leona Lewis album track or reject. Production wise... a Ciara album track? It had no business being the follow-up to Wild Side

^ Well I can't blame her for not saying anything about the album. Things seem to change constantly . Thanks for sharing though. I love when fans get to meet the people they stan.
