Her delivery and production along with her visuals and choreo are her strenghts, but I can see some songs on the album being well written, I assume that after 5 years she would get better at writting...

There was a twitter insider who is not reliable at all saying this about a week ago. I think they just got it from that person so I doubt it's true.

God I forgot she has had 5 years of writing. She should get Ne-Yo to write her a better Ballad. I do like Fair a lot but I get pissed there's no bridge and it feels a bit one note. I think her working with the Cherish sister and her husband might limit her what she can do.

 

I really want Normani to work with the Motivation/Wild Side writers and give her an amazing pop/rnb/urban album that wont put her in one lane of a box. It would do better than 7/27 and give her some monster hits.

I honestly think she would lose a lot of her remaining fans if she stopped making music or not release an album this year. She def have a backlash year.

I know many of us say “this year is the year” but I *think* (VERY LOOSELY) that the album is coming 2023.

 

My sole reason is that they (no clue who) purged basically all the strong demos and leaked them out this year. I don’t find that to be coincidence that we got stuff as old as 2018 and as recent as 2022 in the leaks. The real “album confirmed tracks” must be kept separately under lock and key.
 

Also, there was 0 reaction by her circle or Normani herself when they’ve reacted for a lot less being leaked in the past. We got a whole album worth of leaks  

 

Either she’s getting dropped or that album is coming 2023 but I believe we’ll finally have an answer. Her lil shift into acting can’t be accidental. It’s giving “building the foundation for a back up career”.

Things are so murky right now as she works in silence but I can assure you there is movement behind the CP video. Word is getting around where it needs to.

No word on that. I’m crossing my fingers for two singles. CP for rhythmic/urban and a pop song with Doja on it. Let’s see how powerful I am lol

This Doja rumor randomly popped up the other day. Is this fans saying it or something else going on? I keep hearing it.

@WheresJay we love you for answering whenever you can. Isn’t it wild though how her entire album was derailed after the flop of Fair? Is that pretty much what happened? Because haven’t you technically seen a variation of her album sent out in a folder with the album cover? Kind of sad how Fair was the end of things for a bit :( but we appreciate you and all your info

Yea, I actually thought they were  finishing the album in Mexico, because artists tend to travel to do that. SZA did the same thing before releasing SOS. Something must be happening considering both news of the movie and Harv’s comment coming out a week a part. 
 

She must be trying to make budget after Fair bomb - specifically for Candy Paint MV.  I just really wish RCA would put this album out and let her go. I kinda didn’t want Doja on Candy Paint but being in the same label makes it easier to support the track 

i can see 2023 being the year.. i can. but if it doesn't happen in 2023 - it's over. "candy paint" can save A WHOLE LOT lol. that is a banger.

First, you need to be checked my child. You can’t throw words like “shelved” around here. We really must be positive or silent. Check that mouth. 
 

I do believe Fair startled them and instead of killing the era, they stepped back and re-evaluated the market. If she continuously released, trust me, it wouldn’t have been good as we’ve seen with other artists. Going into 2023, her lane is clear and she has added  other elements to her career that’ll only help. 
 

CP is moving around and is still on the books.
