In 2 weeks, we get the Proud Family OST!  

Okay here's my galaxy/worm brain take but I think the success of SZA and SOS might be what Normani needs at this point, because it's actively proving how much of a market is out there for women in R&B and the commercial success that it can have. I know it's apples to oranges (SZA's on her second, Normani's still trying to get debut out) but I'm hopeful for music in 2023 beyond just a single.

I agree. It showed them how SZA (a non performance based artist) can sell out an album and tours. Normani also bring stage presence to the mix so hopefully RCA is noting the market and moving accordingly. And again I agree that sza had to set the mood to give my good sister a chance.

Honestly it’s nothing to be excited about though. She’s not really teasing a comeback she’s just doing the BARE MINIMUM by posting to her social .. I don’t see a new single coming until earliest mid-March and by then she needs to announce her album right after cause ain’t no way other artists that have started after her solo career announcement should be releasing their debut before her. That’s ridiculous.
