Mannn, barbz on twitter really hate it huh? I hope Nicki's not reading them comments too much. I feel a little bad for her.

It's fun recognising the little lyrical references she secretly used in her tweets throughout the year.

Nicki Hendrix is the only dud for me. Blessings is a little boring but it's not the worst. I enjoy the rest of the album.

 

I wish there was more Roman on this though but she doesn't know how to Roman anymore.

I feel that tunes are gonna switch up FAST when numbers start rolling uphill. People suddenly "get it" when they can bask in the glory after the fact.

Listened to half of the album so far and I don’t get the hate?? Sonically, I’m vibing with this more than I did with queen. I didn’t feel like skipping anything

It has no skips for me 

Only thing ofc is that there isn’t any song on here that has the power Roman’s revenge had or the addictive pop hooks that Moment 4 Life and Super Bass had. But that doesn’t make it a bad album - a lot of the sounds are v fresh for a Nicki album. Can see myself replaying some of these songs for a while and I couldn’t care less how it does on the charts

Aww Just the Memories is such a good closer. wraps the album up perfectly. 

I know this may be just recency bias but I feel like this is my fav Nicki album. I'm honestly shocked how much I love it. I've expected the worst tbh. Even songs like Pink Birthday and My Life that didn't click on first listen suddenly clicked.  I don't remember when was the last time I had an album on repeat like that.

This honestly feels like her most cohesive project & I’m still dissecting the lyrics.

 

I wish there was some higher highs on it though but most of the songs are growers.

Im gagged by the fact that she actually dropped the project. I never believed she would drop an album especially after Queen fiasco. Im really proud of her, and i like this better than queen. Its not the best project sonically, but its filled with songs for all her bases, and i think thats fine.
