Ironically, in her busiest year yet I've abandoned the base thread.

 

This year has been an absolute whirlwind. I'm so happy she's had this incredible success, a great tour and is back active on social media. It feels like a dream. She's deserved this success for so long. All those years of waiting where nothing happened have finally paid off as a fan. Everything happens for a reason and when it's meant to happen it will.

 

I've finally seen her live, a dream for years that I will never forget.

 

She has such a massive team behind her now, I do think this has been the turning point. I'm praying they keep it up.

 

I hope she has a good rest after this tour, imo she should be doing nothing in January and February except having studio time. Maybe start to tease a new era on her socials.

 

Start to tease, release and promote a single in time for Melfest and then a big push towards an album for release around Eurovision 2024. In addition, if I'm being cheeky, a second leg of a tour? There are so many countries they couldn't book and there's still huge demand in the UK.

 

Exciting things are to come!

I saw people on twitter saying that these are older photos because she had been in Iceland back in May to work on a song with Olafur. But they may be recent too.

She was there in May but in these recent photos she's wearing a big winter coat so she likely went back these past few weeks

I just love the fact that we had so many theories and plans about a new album after Eurovision, a new single for Melodifestivalen, a deluxe version of the album after Eurovision...only for Loreen to release an orchestral version of Is It Love and call it a day 😭

She's definitely not. She has a CRAZY festival season after Eurovision, she's been on the studio for the past year and she seems to prepare for her interval act (maybe). 

The new snippet of the upcoming song seems very, VERY promising. This seems like the perfect summer banger and the synths are siiick. 

 

I need Loreen's management to be clever with this one and promote it even harder than Is It Love. This seems to have more replay value and it's going to be a banger. I really hope that they have big plans for this.

If she can just give me 1 more upbeat/high-energy album to make up for the loss of the OG Paper Light album all will be forgiven.

Personally I dont understand her management, as a two times ESC winner she should have been a huge household name all over Europe.

Choice of singles and no release of album etc. is really ridiculous.

I think the choice of singles has been fine, my problem has been the delayed rollout. It's been an odd few months. I was expecting the single earlier in the year and then the album around now. They keep ruining the momentum by taking extended breaks and that's a killer in the modern music industry, most artists can't do that and shouldn't  

 

The tour was massively successful but again, they didn't capitalize on it. I believe they shot some pro-shot footage of the tour but it's never been released. One theory I have is that we might be getting a documentary of some kind and it might be in there.
