Yeah it's good. It doesn't help that it's at #15 on TTH rn. This should serve some legs. Its doing very well on AM currently.

it's missing on most hot hits because spotify changed their strategy few months ago, now they add songs high only after they show some power

I thought we already established that longevity is more important than high debut and then dropping. The following days are more important than debut day, especially given that this song was almost a surprise release for the most of GP.

stop being reasonable we're trying to have meltdowns :khalyan2:

OT: it's so over

Surely, but I think that even without knowing about the teasing, people want pop and want to see the crazy, innovative gaga again.
The ballad is beautiful, but I don't think it's what people want from her after 4 years of absence, even as a surprise song while waiting for the album.

I think we're just coping. A Gaga solo song would probably pull similar numbers. Gaga doesn't have that type of commercial pull nowadays. And that's ok.

I'm more surprised that Mr. Stadium Tour Bruno Mars' fans didn't get the memo?  But yea it's a ballad

Modest numbers, not bad. Hopefully, it serves stability at least

DWAS either will increase or stable in numbers. It's such a good song for GP not to listen to it.

Super decent considering its a ballad, surprise drop and lost 5 hours of tracking. This one is gonna serve longevity

So how tf this fanbase managed to stream Stupid Love over 5.6M on spotify in 2020 and 1.5M in US?

Did we shrink?

the fagottinos just hate ballads i guess

Why are we saying it lost 5 hours of tracking? Wasn't it released at 9 PM Pacific Time? Isn't that the standard?

Standard for US BB100 chart tracking, yes. But WW Spotify goes by Coordinated Universal Time which is 8 hours ahead of PST and 5 hours ahead of EST. Since DWAS was released at 12:00 AM EST/9:00 PM PST, it got 19 hours of tracking. But that's standard for any song that releases at midnight EST/9:00 PM PST.

And the fact that it's continued to increase on Apple Music is very good imo. It's not going to increase in streams the next day on Spotify but it's stable which is a very good sign :eli:

That's what happens when you don't feed your fans :ryan3:

It's also the fact that SL had ASIB Hype and TTH No.1

DWAS' debut is mehhh but it's far from flop.. let's just hope for the long game here

For now, let's hope for a top10 debut

Yeah, but every US artist releases at 9 pm PT. And we don't see anyone claiming they lost 5 hours of tracking

Well yes but not everyone possesses our collective lack of sanity :suburban:
