As a French citizen, I totally second that point. The whole Palestinian situation was the main topic of discussion here, until Macron decided to fast-forward new elections because the far-right widely won the European ones. Now they could run the country in less than 2 weeks and there's no space left in the public debate for the Middle East conflict. That doesn't mean any of us changed our position regarding said conflict, but as individuals whose rights and security are at stake, we're enclined to switch our focus.

Gaga isnt speaking up about Palestine because she is pretty pro Israel through and through yall. Its ok to admit that. I am staunchly pro Palestine but I can still be a fan of someone if they are overall a good person and simply disagree with me on one thing (even though its a huge thing tbh...). 

She probably hates whats happening but at the same time I think she is one of the people who think all these issues began October 7 instead of realizing that Palestinians have been subjugated to ethnic cleansing for 70+ years...otherwise she wouldnt have gone and defended Israel back in like 2015 or whatever saying it was a misunderstood country or whatever  

Ultimately, Gaga has the right to vote for Biden and support him for other reasons or because she is satisfied with his policies. Its us that have to sort of taper our expectations and know that she is simply a human being like all of us and that while her voice is important it may not ALWAYS align with yours...and thats ok (as annoying as it may be or as passionate about something as you may be). Thats just the way the world works

In such a multifaceted issue, it's hard to label someone as being entirely 'pro-' anything. I highly doubt Gaga is indifferent to the suffering and massacre of innocent people. She doesn't have to comment on it, maybe because she feel she hasn't much to add other than "war is bad, we need peace" (especially after "woke twitter" attacted her after trying to help the BLM movement). But assuming she is 'completely pro-Israel' feels oversimplified. (And she's not a monster, I can't see her justify what's going on in gaza)
