Chromatica is a great pop record. I think the 'hate' is stemming from the fact that it doesn't feel very 'Lady Gaga'. Even Joanne feels closer to her 'identity'.

 

Any pop girlie can claim Chromatica and release it as their album.

 

It's ironic and a shame that the remix album, feels more like her than the standard one though.

Exactly. Songs like Replay, Enigma or even Plastic Doll are 100% Gaga.

Gaga's biggest mistake was inviting Bloodpop to the studio during Chrome sessions. She should've stayed smoking on that porch until she found someone who is up to her calibre. Matter of fact, she should've called Mark and made Joanne 2: Joe's Revenge.

I mean y'all are allowed your opinions, and I love Chromatica. It was the first time she was not involved in producing a pop record, and it shows.

idk the only time Chromatica felt more safe at times was in the production of some songs - the lyrics and melodies are unmistakably Gaga
