Don’t get me wrong - I agree with what you’ve said, ARUTW is def one of her best ballads but again, her approach to this music, is a clear indication she closed this chapter

However, I am willing to wait until the tour and see how this will play out. I do wonder if she will maybe sing at least some lines of ARUTW in Paris, since France was def the biggest market for this soundtrack out of the countries in which she’s about to perform. 

All of this. Like there have been plenty of chances for her to perform ASIB songs and she just hasn't. Chromatica had had more songs performed in one medley than ASIB has in the 3-4 years since its release. I wouldn't be surprised if she ARUTW or INLA at some point, but I just don't think she personally feels a huge need to perform that soundtrack or even music like it genre wise.

She may have had occasion to but she had no reason to perform album tracks from the OST back in 2018/2019. The focus was on the movie and Shallow which was the single and the awards candidate.

 

It's now 2022, four years after its release and as I said ARUTW has become her biggest solo hit in over a decade. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it currently out streaming every song from Chromatica?  No one wants the tour to be a balladfest, but replacing Yoü And I/MR/Speechless with Shallow/ARUTW which are both more recent, well know and successful than the latter is logical.

 

You still haven't adequately explained with it makes "perfect sense" for her to continue disregarding it. "Because she's ignored it so far" is not a reason. 

You’re not wrong, no. Does Chromatica (or any other of her albums for that matter) have a constant, huge, multiplatform promo going on for any of its songs tho? The movie

is being streamed on various platforms all around the world and is one of the best selling dvd’s and blu rays in multiple countries.
 

Not to take anything form ARUTW, but it is benefiting from two things - being a masterpiece and being in a hugely successful movie - so yeah, Chromatica and any other of her albums’ songs stand no chance in outstreaming the second biggest hit from this soundtrack. 
 

Moving on - the perfect sense is just that - her obvious approach towards it. 2018 or 2022, doesn’t matter. She had a gazillion of chances to play ARUTW, she didn’t. It’s, to me, a very clear indication of what’s going to happen but as I’ve said, let’s wait for the actual tour, who knows.

PF won Best Dance Recording fortunately, but yeah Paparazzi would’ve been a great addition to the lineup in pop. Not sure it would’ve beat Halo though.

Yeah, exactly this. There is no excuse for her to not perform ASIB ever since 2018 anywhere, somehwere…She really had plenty of chances.

That's a fair point but all the other songs performed in the film, including those with videos like LWIF and INLA, do not enjoy the same level of success and demand as ARUTW. Why? Cause it's an organic hit, not just because a few people are still discovering the movie. 

 

I would be here for her replacing Shallow with ARUTW at this point. At least it wouldn't be as harsh on her vocals and would mix things up a bit. I mistakenly sold my ticket last year anyway so I don't know why this matters to me.

I honestly think she will never perform Perfect Illusion again, mainly because it's so hard to sing live and she needs to preserve her voice for the rest of a show and beyond that..

Agreed, ARUTW is an amazing song that is simply better than INLA or LWIF, that’s why it has more success than both.
 

Notice please how I never said it’s „only” because people are still discovering the movie.And believe me, it’s not few either. Streaming platforms are huge, no other Gaga project ever had this kind of outstanding visibility and nothing comes close to it. 
 

I would love to hear both Shallow and ARUTW live, but if I would have to pick one, I would stay with Shallow only because I’ve never heard either lol.
