The Numbers’ model for the year have Joker decreasing domestically as the market is taking longer than expected to rebound and I assume accounting for trends. It’s worth noting Wonka as an out and out musical completely outperformed their model recently. Sub $300m in the US would probably put another $1bn total gross out of play. 
 

Also as for Deadpool 3 doing a billion, it’s not impossible (the trailer views show high interest and there’s clearly going to be a lot of stunts pulled to make this an event, with it basically going to own late summer) but the last movie did under $800m, decreased domestically and had a nominal bump over the first WW thanks to stronger overseas markets. 
 

It would need a far larger jump WW just to best Guardians 3. It’s going to need to fire on all cylinders, engage those who have walked out on the MCU and hope X-Men and Taylor as Dazzler doing a soundtrack song for the film (speculation for now) will work to go all the way up to a billion.

 

fwiw, the same Numbers report project Deadpool 3 to fall between the second and first movies domestically. If it jumps overseas box office in the $800m range feels the most likely outcome.

Shakira, Dua, Katy, Lorde, Billie, Camilla, Halsey, Sia are all teasing or already embarked on a new era. Though most of these are not usually competition for Gaga it's about to get over-saturated. 

At the end it's just Taylor period of release to avoid, all the rest is not big deal.

 

I also think that Gaga has big hype this time giving she's not releasing since 4 years, most important thing is that they keep managing to avoid leaks, if she manages to drop without leaks I think the curiosity around her new music is bigger than majority of names mentioned sans Taylor.
