I think it all started when she broke up with Luc. Maybe he kept her grounded or made her feel okay with being who she was.

Most standard rock songs are longer and anyone expecting the standard verse-big chorus-verse-big chorus pop structure is probably going to be disappointed. This is a whole other genre than pop music.

 

I'm expecting something like the two songs she made with Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Reel but with more present vocals. Only those with taste will be able to appreciate.
