ChromaGod is an amazing album. I love it for its influences, production, lyrics and visuals. Such an upgrade from her previous LP, for me obviously. However as the time goes by, I find it harder to say any of her albums is a weak album. I love them all.

It was worth it. I'll never forget the listening to the orchestral interludes seamlessly transitioning into dance beats for the first time. Oh Godga.

Yeah I recall this as well, I perfectly remember when it happened, the album leaked in full in early afternoon (Europe) of the previous day of the official release basically with the New Zealand release, only 1-2 songs or demos leaked in advance like 'Free Woman', I remember I didn't listen to the leaks back in the day in order to enjoy better the album and I'm glad I did it.

Hopefully some stills as we'd be an year away from the release, although it's still pretty early.

 

Lawrence shared earlier that he'd be done color grading it by October and then they'll spend some time fine tuning it so at least the first full rough cut will likely be ready by next month. Exciting times ahead.

For the first Joker, they started teasing it in September (a whole year before release) with some camera test footage. I did expect to start seeing some teasers but wasn't sure if the SAG-AFTRA strike would affect this. Can't wait.

I think someone else in here said that since Todd Phillips co-wrote the script as is part of WGA as a result, he can't promote it as long as the strike's going on? I'm only saying him as the teaser images we've gotten so far were from either his or Gaga's social media pages. I could be wrong though.

I think it's gonna happen eventually in her career but not for a matter of goodwill especially in order to gain voters.

 

Her performance in order to win needs to be undeniable anyway, she's not a full time actress that she can benefit from a certain kind of campaign like Jamie Lee Curtis this year for example, she's one of the biggest popstars, they're gonna make it even harder for her, we saw that already with HOG and how every harmeless thing she said was being used against her, in my opinion it will be better for her having a different campaign approach with JFAD and let the work speaks for itself in first without having to kiss the Academy ass.
