Who said that? I just said based on the rumor when was she wrote this song. During the same period doesn't mean same sessions maybe you are creating false narratives yourself

the more i listen to this the more epic it sounds and i can totally it see being a hit, its probably gonna be hard to make this a hit though just because this type of song isn't what is the zeitgeist.

This also doesn’t give Joanne at all  Like nothing about it is akin to Joanne sonically, so I don’t know why you would think it would come from those sessions.

It's a nice enough song. She sounds good and it's very cinematic - she understood the assignment. It will sound incredible live for sure.

 

I still can't believe that intro is real though. That one-trick pony cannot help himself.

I really like the song, the melodies are great, I love the verses, the pre chorus and the chorus has been stuck in my head for an hour now. The intro doesn't bother me? I kinda like it  the bridge is very good too. Her vocals are amazing, they reminded me of the Posh Life demo during the verses ; she kinda sounds like her 2013 self.

 

Maybe some of y'all are disappointed because you hyped the 8s snippet to the heavens? Hold My Hand is not her best song, but it's still very good to me, at least.

It's been on repeat since it came out. Probably recency bias but it's definitely one of my fave ballads from her.

 

The intro doesn't bother me that much but its kind of annoying when you're replaying the song. It might put off some streamers idk
