I'm sure she has a foundation of written songs to build off over these past couple of years, she's always writing. Once Gaga enters the recording process, it typically doesn't take her long to finish (see: Joanne almost entirely recorded from March to Sept 2016 and Chromatica mainly in early/mid 2018 before putting the finishing touches late 2019/early 2020) Besides, it would be four years since Chromatica which would already make it her longest wait between releases.
