How is there such a big misconception that she wasn’t energized for Chromatica. She was very excited. Recording meme vids with ari, reposting memes and engaging with fangs, wanting to host a listening party, sharing pics of the release party with balloons while people commented “how can you be so tone deaf right now”. After that is when she totally stopped engaging with any Chromatica stuff.

Chromatica era started just two weeks before COVID shut the world down. Then the album came out when massive protests began, literally the day they began. Most unfortunate timing ever for a pop album, even worse than Glitter. There was no way for her to be all engaged on social media. She would've been dragged to hell.
