Didn’t Bey sit on her Coachella footage for months too? Gar could drop the footage tomorrow and this base would celebrate for literally a week before starting to complain about her not doing sh*t until FAD is out.

Oh absolutely, although I'd say awards prospects wise it's always better to have a critically acclaimed movie as well as it bolsters an actor's winning chances too.

 

It all worked out nicely for her in the end though as the narrative instantly became "Lady Gaga carried this film" after the release. The OGHs only became loud after the Oscar snub, otherwise they were silent till then 

 

I remember her Oscar snub thread had 30+ pages and was just a cesspool of flamebait, they were all that angry and desperate to vent

Glad I wasn't around in here in that period... the irony when majority of people faves in here could only aim to get a Razzie nomination, Gaga stil managed to get her prestigious achivements either way for HOG.

 

However with this board collapsing every day always more with continue errors and the admin that keeps doing nothing about it, I was reading on HQ that they're thinking to move ATRL to discord and make an official ATRL group, personally I think this would be the perfect occasion-timing for all the Gaga stans to actually move in another board (maybe Popa911 or PopJustice?) and stop dealing with the obnoxious and stale haters in here.

This. It's not abnormal at all for a year+ wait for concert films, and as you said, base would find something to complain about the next day
