There was a whole article/thread about it some weeks ago nn. Dance/Electronic hasn't nominated a Pop artist in a decade or more.  

 

I love Rennie and I hope it wins over Adele, but Scammys need to get it right and open it again for everyone.

It has always been like this in the last years, but the rules clearly don't apply for everyone which is not surprising considering for who they made the exception

Grammys being extremely unfair to Gaga by nominating Beyonce for dance /electronic album. I thought that category was reserved for only DJs. Otherwise both ARTPOP and chromatica are both dance electronic albums than pop. Grammys always giving an unfair advantage to their darling Beyonce.!

Let's say as ambitious and realized as BTW. Every album after BTW sounded ambitious but they were not fully realized. Chromatica had the potential but I think it fells short compared to BTW. Even though BTW is my fav album of hers, I do not want her to go back to that sound. I would be more excited to see her explore something new and a bit more daring than Chromatica -production wise.

And this is just one in a long list, she needs to ditch them for long time like I said yesterday, in the same way she did with the VMAs and eventually use them only when it's really convenient for her, but at this point, I'm not even sure about it, their ratings are collapsing every year always more, performing there promo wise is pointless these days, new generations don't care.

This is more about the campaign promo for best original song, she's the only one in contention that has not one, but two Grammy nominations for her song and involvement with soundtrack, this is a way for underline it, but my argument is about attending-performing, but that just my opinion.

She also ignored and say anything when she won for INLA and best compilation soundtrack for ASIB in 2020.

Gaga at times even thanked AMAs or other irrelevant awards in recent years, if she wanted she could have done a post about those wins easily.

 

Gaga is smart, she knows how to play the industry game, just see how she handled the Oscars awards season this year, others at her place wouldn't even attended, but she handled it with class.

 

She will never openly cut ties with them (like certain people who were sassy in dragging them years ago but this year they begged to be nominated) or ignoring them for good with no even make a tweet, but I'm pretty sure she has been butthurt for certain snubs or not wins in the past, however the situation is tricky because she still won 13, so you can't even say they hate her when there are big artist who never won like Bjork or Lana Del Rey, or big legend like Cher who has only one (won in her 50s).
