Like this song has a legitimate chance to do some big things, but some of y'all need to temper expectations.

The idea is that an artist of some caliber will get their own spotlight, instead of being with the entire bunch on Friday. So, Gaga can sit down with Zane Lowe and "premiere" it on Thursday and trend above others, then still experience a boost on Friday with all the playlisting. It's definitely about playing the long game more than a high debut, but when Selena Gomez always did this on Wednesdays  songs went from the ability to debut in the top ten to top twenty.

With HMH being the only song for audiences to cling onto, I imagine it will have decent longevity as people see the movie. The debut is probably going to be a wake up call for certain liddos though. 

Take My Breath Away and Danger Zone will definitely be in the movie. It will be interesting to see how those classic songs will compare to HMH’s streaming numbers. Fans of the original movie will be very critical of a new Top Gun song
