releasing on thursday never do good for a song or its chart run or its not give it any longevity. its only hurting song’s chart potantial. 

 

Billie’s lead missed #1 because of thursday release

Selena gomez almost lost #1 because of it as well

shallow lost 12k digital sales because of it + it also didnt make her chart earlier as well.. 

sour candy also lost many digital sales + streams because of it as well. people didnt cared because we had rain on me and album release a day later but still hurt it and its charting higher chances.

And technically speaking those 12k Thursday Shallow sales weren’t wasted, they still count towards its total sales anyhow. Plus at the end of the day it still hit #1 at some point
