She was crying when talked about it. Not everyone is strong enough to face their trauma. Even in MTN video she masked the abortion issue really well. It shows that she is not strong enough to talk about this. It applies to some SA.

 

The same logic can be applied with rape victims who are scared to testify in court cause they had to explain and go through again that traumatic experience. So be understanding.

- artRAVE: Cake Like Lady Gaga; Partynauseous (do these count? )

- Coachella: Scheiße, Venus, Sexxx Dreams, Teeth, Speechless (don't really count John Wayne and A-YO because it was still part of the Joanne era)

- Joanne World Tour: Scheiße; Bloody Mary

- Enigma: Dance in the Dark; Beautiful, Dirty, Rich; The Fame; Aura; Scheiße; Government Hooker (makes sense it has more since it's a greatest hits show and not supporting a specific album)

 

I'm personally hoping for Marry the Night and So Happy I Could Die. And she better finally ditch Scheiße. 

The fact that they pulled out HMH from US pop radio and, there, in France we've been on Power Rotation for weeks Tastes.

I’m not asking her to say something about her experience, but women just lost their rights in America. Gaga should say something.

During the last 5-6 years, the way Gaga has done activism has been WAY less about hyperbolic statements that get you clicks and more about actual ways to channel the rage. I mean, in a sense she's always been like that, since her early days of joining the Don't Ask Don't Tell repeal campaign, school bullying, gay marriage, etc. She's never been one to tweet and then let it go. 

 

During the 2020 protests, she chose not to speak until she could use her platform to lead people into various nonprofits and organizations. When the Trump administration enacted the transgender ban on the military, she did the same thing, and then AFTER that she dragged Pence a bit. 

 

In this case, it's a bit different, there's NO point in campaigning for Senate or House reprensentatives in Washington to get elected because codifying abortion rights on the federal level IS POINTLESS because it's impossible. A chunk of Republicans would be needed and they will never. On top of that, Dems are losing house and senate this year and they'll be out of the White House for the 2024-2032 term FOR SURE. So, then we enter the space of EACH INDIVIDUAL STATE. There's like 10 or 12 where those rights are secure, but the rest? What's Gaga gonna do getting involved in Kentucky or Indiana politics, who's gonna pay attention to her? Let me remind you Taylor got involved in a red state senate race and it made ZERO difference, the Republican still won by like 30 points or something like that.

Exactly, what’s not clicking? She has her own trauma attached to this therefore it would mean she would have to go back to it while speaking on it. Move on. It’s not your choice to make.

Well, if not SHICD then at least something she hasn’t performed in a long time. Monster or Heavy Metal Lover would be cute.

 

I’m just glad that HMH/Shallow/ARUTW/MR potentially being on the setlist means no Y&I or BTW/TEOG piano version. A win.
