what’s the tea with this candy album i keep seeing on twitter?

I’m so confused by this ‘Candy’ album. She said it was the album about 4 months ago, but it’s all new songs (no FSN, Coconuts, HIFTB, ASW etc.)

 

4 months ago takes us to early March, just after S*** Pop, when HIFTB was (unofficially) scheduled for a March 25th release.

Why would she be (planning on) releasing HIFTB & performing Problematique songs if they weren’t even coming out / on the album? I’m really so lost with the timeline of this album.

I know some of you may be lost on what is coming, but well, here's a guide to songs that are yet to leak/be released eventually (that we know of):

She's not using any of these songs as she's working on a new album currently. Now all we have to do is wait for any kind insider out there to share with us these ones eventually.

Yup, a new single is coming this month and Unholy too! She already has the schedule ready for it

 

There's also a snippet titled "Hot" out there and i'm not really sure if that's legit? Can't really tell if it's her or not, it's so LQ.

Isn't also Official Girl part of Candy? It's the track she posted on her IG stories a few days ago. A minute of Eventually also leaked but it sounds like a mess, probably a LQ demo 'cause it's just a bunch of autotuned vocals with a bare production.

Yep! I forgot to add it bc her finger was put in front of the name of that track on the pic she posted

Kim features on Baby E's new song "Untrustable." It's really boring though and she doesn't even show up until 2:44   Cute album art though.

Well ladies and gays the time has finally arrived - Kim looks set to finally chart substantially thanks to her Sam Smith collab "Unholy."  Stream the life out of it! This could be huge for her and give her damn label the push it needs to finally get her lead single and album out the door.

 

 

I can’t even emphasise how much of an iconic classic TOTL is. I just resurrected the album for myself (haven’t listened to it in like 6 months) & it made me so happy to hear those songs again 

Turn off the Light is extremely iconic - it's exciting that there's still gonna be a part 3 at some point.  I don't even mind waiting, let's get this god damn major label album out in the world.

Kim and Sam should've released Unholy during the summer, it probably could've helped push her as a frontrunner for BNA at the Grammy's.

Alex chapman is on her IG stories so I assume they are back to being friends and working together ? 

Kim confirmed a couple Problematique songs will make it onto the new album. I'm guessing HIFTB & All She Wants, both previously confirmed by Kim & Paris as still being released.

 

I'm really glad these two songs have (hopefully) been saved, they deserve official releases. Unless she randomly decides to save Love You Leave You!

#1 on the Hot 100 with "Unholy." Low key her worst song but if it boosts her profile, phew let's go Miss Kim Petras! Can't believe we're still waiting for "Jesus was a Rockstar" though these Republic roll-outs are killinnnggg me. Will they fumble her big moment to release with newfound attention? Time will tell.

they should've went with something more urban for the follow up to unholy, but I hope jesus was a rockstar makes some noise.

 

imagine she followed up unholy with the likes of icy, do me or sweet spot, #1 smashas, I fear.
