Yeah i saw that It was shot by the same guy who did the photoshoot for Alone, brrr and IJWAR, so it's def for a new single

 

I even thought about creating a new thread under music news but it's still early. Hopefully a snippet this week and we're set

Also this picture alone already is hinting to a new direction like she said, more soft and personal. I think it'll be a ballad or a midtempo... i love her slvtty bops but it's about time for her to push her vocal and songwriting talents to the front

I kinda wanted her to pull a Problématique/SPM again and release a complete project at once, but most likely it'll be just the lead single

 

However i'm excited for her to have a proper era with no scraps or leaks, FTB was a Frankenstein and we ended up getting an edited version of what Problématique was supposed to be

I think she's recording tons of new music lately... hopefully nothing will leak until she releases the new project.

A song titled "Overdrive" leaked today. Apparently it's from late 2023, early sessions for the upcoming album

 

It's a cute house bop but still very demo-ish. I hope she doesn't face many leaks for the new era, at least not until she releases the album - after that i would love to hear the scraps though

 

It's been quiet in KP land. "Bozo" was a cute little bop for an afternoon.

She's been teasing that she's at like "97%" or something which I can only assume means we're about to begin an era? In truth it could still be weeks or months away but exciting to know something is happening. A new Kim song would be so cute right now.

I feel like this era is gonna be a lot smoother than whatever mess the debut 2021-2023 period was

That was pretty cute but a little overly vocoded - I don't think he has a particularly special voice... but his taste is EXCELLENT for covering this absolute classic. In another universe it was a smash era-closing single and obliterated the charts

Oh this thread is so Well Pretour was fun (tried to attach a link below but Soundcloud is blocked at my work so not sure if this is the right link )! Her set at the Castro Theatre or whatever it was was the other day was legendary, so many deep cuts like "Slow It Down" and "Meet The Parents." God knows what's going on with her label drama but hopefully some movement soon, I need Operation Petras up and running again!

Triple posting sksksk but this thread is dying IDK what's going on with her but I get the hint she's still hustling and dealing with things, clearly locked in an ugly agreement with Republic / Dr Luke I suspect. She's still valiantly claiming Detour will come out so... fingers crossed!
