I was reminded of a B track (unreleased) and I can't remember the name of the song. It had some lyrics like a reverse countdown with words "6 feet under, 4 drinks and I'm whole again" something something. Stronger era throwaway

I would LOVE ONE so much omg  and as much as I've always loved her music videos, I'm chill if she wants to do a fully immersive project the way Chemistry was again where there were no videos. it still felt so personal and I still regard it as an excellent album! Mine, Down to You, and That's Right will all never get old for me tbh

I think "with the exception of 2019" is the key part of your question because that's when the talk show started which she's so busy with  I would also love a new album this year but I think with chemistry deluxe just releasing last year the most probable thing is Kellyoke Vol 2 this year

I am thinking it will be a subsidiary to Atlantic cuz she's still on their website roster as active. I think they'll still need some help with promotion and radio/streaming/marketing 

Also been thinking: 

 

if Kelly is independent now then she can easily work with RCA for legacy stuff such as Vinyl releases, anniversary releases, Underneath the Tree promo etc 

 

and when Kelly mentioned "Piece by piece" healed version must be one of the things on her own she will do soon!

A music video?! I'm ready for VISUALS again. Gimme the 4K music video, Kelly. Chemistry not having music videos and Meaning of Life really losing steam post "Love So Soft" was always disappointing. And I am loving the new hair colour she has, too! A nice highlighted blonde!

They don't always update their rosters as quickly as you may think; I remember JoJo was listed for months after she announced she'd left the label for Warner. And was even listed on Warner for a bit of time after she announced she was fully indie.

That's a good point. I saw someone else say that a lot of artist go indie and use BMG to help distribute the music. That is what she will need for CDs and streaming

I think she'd do relatively well being distributed by BMG. They have been known to be a bit messy but overall I like the company.

Then again… she didn't do **** for breakaway, her peak era and probably the one era she is know for so who the hell knows.

speaking of Jojo, i'm pretty sure Kelly will have a similar set up to Jojo's Clover Music ... an independent label with a distribution deal. Good for her, but I'm honestly surprised she didn't have an amazing offer from a major label. Or maybe she did and she turned it down. Does this mean Kelly won't be promoting her Christmas material going forward?

I think sometimes people under estimate how much Kelly doesn't like RCA.

Right after I said probably no new music this year  I'm ready Kelly!

I don't think labels even knew she was leaving Atlantic. It won't surprise me if Julie/Greg approached her with the idea since they were leaving the company and they were the main reason she signed with Atlantic. 

Do we think the "male" Kelly referred to a few months ago was Marc Ronson/You For Christmas? Or someone else?

 

I only wonder because Bruno Mars has been releasing duets with females this entire era.
