UTT reached a new peak in the UK at #7, Ireland at #11, Australia and New Zealand at #6.

I guess we'll find out soon enough. Was hoping it would be #6 or 7 but this will allow UTT to achieve a new peak on the chart next year. 

Nat King Cole and Jose Feliciano always make massive jumps that final Christmas week/Day. A few other songs do, as well. I'm glad UTT, much like Mariah, starts picking up around October. We are lucky!

Yeah every year before this it always looks good, then the final day/days the other just jump ahead so her best chances were always the week before for some reason. But I'll be shocked if she can edge out Ariana. We'll see Monday 

Another new prediction came out and it shows UTT at #10 for a second week in a row and Ariana's STM at #7 lol. Kind of frustrating but it is what it is.

I bet she'd be top 5 if she were still with RCA. This song thrived organically but it's basically handicapped by her not with RCA. Radio push, iTunes discount, physical/vinyls

Kelly did hers without any extra support.

We were neck and neck before Ariana had all the merch so she most likely won't have it next year.

A shortened version being performed once a year on her talk show is not the same as selling vinyls and merch

You are right, but Ariana's song itself never really got much promo from Ariana as well before those vinyls and live performance this year.

However, Kelly did truly fantastic without any extra help this year, UTT might overtake STM next year. I am surprised it overtook Snowman by a large margin on Christmas Day on Spotify. I think Kelly's song is more holiday pop radio friendly than almost any oder modern holiday song, so I can see Kelly getting into the Top 5 next year because her airplay and playlist support should continue to rise (all that is if Billboard doesn't change the rules, of course). 

 

Whatever it is, a #9 peak is so amazing. We should be grateful for it.

 

Also Santa Can't You Hear Me did really well globally for a third year in a row. It's like the little sister of UTT, it sounds almost as good as UTT as well. I love both so much.  

 

The fact it made it into the Top 40 at #38 with almost 6m streams (!) is insane. It's only 3 years old and already above some other amazing modern holiday pop radio classics.
