so i'm guessing the When Christmas Comes Around Deluxe was released to fulfill her deal with Atlantic? No wonder it was so randomly thrown together … one good thing about this is that she might not have a vested interest in promoting the WCCA singles more than UTT in the future

I'm excited for her independent label and if what we'll get is going to be different.  We'll get to see Kelly at her most unfiltered -- will be interesting to see how much is the same and how much will be different.

I actually have always thought that Kelly is capable of being fairly competitive and calculating (in a good way) when needed. I think it's what helped her win Idol and even propelled the Breakaway era to the heights it reached - seemed like she regrouped after Thankful and decided to 'play the game' a bit in order to fuel her blossoming career. If she really believes in this material, I think we'll see a similar push from her.

By the way, Sony Music is reissuing the Piece By Piece album as a 2-disc vinyl for its 10th anniversary.

Also heard through the grapevine that her label structure will be similar to Sia's Monkey Puzzle, with distribution by Atlantic Records. Her previous structure during the Atlantic era (2017-2024) was the phonographic rights (the masters) belong to her (as a person) while the copyright stays with Atlantic.

This seems like a re-release as the original was two disc too. I have it. They could have at least added Idol verison of PBP

Interesting. A radio site said the same thing and that Kelly will have other artists on the label. 

now if Sabrina got the idea from KC, you'd think she thank her by putting her on a song.

Is she recording her album live on stage? That'd be sick.

 

Love the concept going around that she's going to record some live music, whether new or old (or covers), it seems somewhat plausible from the name.

 

some speculation there might be a name of HERO going around on Twitter, but people also saying it could just be the image type.

 

In any case, it's all exciting! 
 

On a personal level I won't be able to go to vegas this time (money and dates are problematic at short notice). I do hope if she just stays in the USA we get something east coast in the future for a cost and jet lag/journey time situation for us Europeans haha

I mean vegas is pretty much just as far from

nyc as London tbh so I feel like there's hope again one day!

If she spends the summer in Montana then it would be an easy trip to Vegas.

I bet she's so open to doing a full "tour" in Vegas cuz it's a way to fund for her new projects due to being independent. Plus for the fans and easy money for her team I'd assume

She's listed under their legacy artists now. The tab right next to the current artists. Not surprised since she's independent now 

Nope I had a look under legacy artists she's not listed. I thought Atlantic will be the distributor like Sias own label
