Yes! Beat of My Heart is a cute bop, we love ha but she's no Break My Heart :gaycat4:

This is pretty much the equivalent to how I feel about Sparks > One In A Million, another hit that got away :jonny2:

All I ever wanted has left me standing here alone
It started with you and ended with me
All I ever needed, I had it with you in my arms
It started with you and ended with me

God In A Million is top 10 in her discography and I don't care what anyone says.

BREAK MY HEART

WATCH ME FALL APART YOU SEE

I'M FALLING APART

LOOK WHAT YOU'RE DOING TO ME :katie2:

Facts :WAP: queen really did that!

Going through Hilary's discography, not one album sounds the same as it's predecessor. She truly displayed diversity within the pop realm and I'm itching to find out the direction she's taking for HD6.

By the way, does everyone remember the "This Is Life" TikTok Hilary posted in the later half of last year? There's a brief moment of Matthew sitting down in the studio grooving in his chair and I'm convinced they were listening to one of Hilary's new songs.

Also, can Hilary get a role that's not a romantic comedy?

The way her TEEN films were all hits (even The Perfect Man) minus Raise Your Voice, whew, she really was a box office queen at the ages of 16-18.

Break My Heart should have been a mid-2000s classic ala SUBG and Who Knew BUT we aren't ready for that conversation.

The release of BOMH was a total misstep for her team at the time, just like not releasing The Getaway because the self-titled album didn't quite hit as much numbers as Metamorphosis by the end of 2004.

The fact that self-titled sold more than 1.8 million copies in the US (eligible for double platinum certification with streaming included) off the back of one single is crazy.

I have been revisiting the queen's discography lately and she has so many good deep cuts.

What is everyone's favorite?

My God Tier Top 5:

Happy

One In A Million

Fly

Beat of My Heart

What Dreams Are Made of

She has so many gems in her discography! I'll never not regret not getting my mom to take me to see the Dignity Tour in LA. I would've died seeing Happy Performed

Plus, a song that didn't even chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Plus, I wonder how much Most Wanted is at now.

No one talks a lot about her self titled, but Shine and Hide Away are some of my favorite deep cuts.

Holiday is also one I keep coming back to. And Outside of You.

Break my heart was suppose to be the second single off most wanted but it was switched to beat of my heart because it was more pop like wake up

Self title was updated to 2xplatinum in 2023

Holiday went diamond on my iPod nano

I want new music to sound like Holiday. A masterpiece.

The way she drops an album every 10 years. Chasin the Sun was so robbed. Y'all called it corny but it was right in her realm. She makes happy adorable music. Leave the trashy music to the hoes.

I think it was ahead of its time if you ask me. It has aged like fine wine but stans are not ready for that conversation :sorry:

She can serve me another All About You-esque song, just give us something, girl.

Thank you for this I never got to see Hilary in her prime days because I was too young for concerts at the time

it looks like Ashlee Simpson is coming back too

this really is 2005 all over again

I think Hilary will have the most success to be honest

Ashlee has been away for too long

Big things happening in the Hilary duff community :jonnycat:

We have NO information at all, and I don't think she is with RCA anymore, that was a one and done in my mind.

Ashlee Simpson residency announcement

has me thinking that this would be a good idea for Hilary instead of a tour

plus she would still be able to do acting projects

There are a few songs on ASCAP we never heard before but we know they were made for other projects like Heroine, 17, Snow Globe, etc.

Tied To You is there along side a song called  Let Me Miss You/Let Me Miss Ya, which was written with the same writers as the first one.

There are 2 other songs I don't remember hearing anything about them before: Gotta Get Away From You and Slip Away, but I don't think they are new material, since none of them have Matthew listed as a writer or producer, and we're guessing she's mainly working with him right now.
