Two of her most beautiful songs ever.

I was praying in 2021 for her to make Carefully an official single. I still think it could've become a cute top 40 hit with radio support.

The Way You Don't Look at Me is so beautiful. Top 10 best Demi songs for me.

I heard some interesting talk about Demi's upcoming album! Now, this is NOT verified, so obviously take with a grain of salt, but its exciting nonetheless.  If it's true, it would be THE PERFECT fit for her - definitely a bold/smart move that would set her apart from everything else happening in the music scene right now.

Apparently the sound blends multiple genres (think pop, blues, alt-rock, and alt-rnb) and from what I've heard, it's like a fusion of Raye, Amy Winehouse, SZA and Lana Del Rey, but with pop elements that still appeals to radio (as per request of the label) — some tracks are reminiscent of some of her earlier tracks, like Everytime You Lie.

The album is allegedly slated for a mid-late summer release, Demi and the label are still working on finalizing the tracklist (the label is apparently pushing for more pop adjacent tracks to be included for future singles)

The album's aesthetic will have a modern retro-glam feel, reminiscent of her engagement photos, kind of like an elevated/more glam version of Katy Perry's "One of the Boys"

There are apparently at least 3 collabs that have been recorded, one of them is allegedy with SZA — there's also been alleged recent discussions about a potential collaboration with Raye, though to my knowledge it's still in the early stages and hasn't been confirmed or recorded yet.

I really hope it's true because it sounds like it could be something so fresh and unique!

This sounds like a dream come true :weeps: :weeps:

Really hope you are right :weeps:

Imagine going from collabs like Winnetka Bowling or Dead Sara to SZA :jonny2:

Now that Every Time You Lie has been mentioned... Imagine if she brought it back. I wish I could hear it live :cries:

And something in the line of ETYL would make OG stans go crazy :jonny5:

I really hope it's true! The only thing that makes me skeptical and gives me hesitation is that the information didn't come from a music-related source, it came from someone who doesn't work directly in the music side of the creative field. That's all I can share without identifying anyone, so like I said, grain of salt! But still, it's got me feeling hopeful, and since it's the only piece of info we've gotten about her new music so far I'm not ruling it out yet!

I'm really hoping the label will be supportive and back the project with a solid budget since the music is reportedly more mainstream appealing, and if her new manager can execute an album rollout and strategy similar to what he did for Charli's BRAT, I have full faith that we'll be in good hands.

With a new manager, a fresh sound, and Demi in a place where she's happy, healthy and thriving, everything seems set for a potentially big era — as long as the music is good, this could be her moment to really shine and set herself apart in the music world.

I'm dying to see her live again. I really hope she goes on a worldwide tour again. :cries:

Y'all, don't make me so happy like that :jonnycat:

Apparently, a snippet of a song called Euphoria leaked. It is EDM from what I read and fans are losing it. The snippet is being taken down :jonny:

It's a European smash summer hit :jonny5:

just heard it

I liked Euphoria's snippet, but personally Would like to see her more on TMYLM than europop

The descriptions that this one Gave us feels perfect for Demi

I want SZA, Doja & Raye on this album

Agree

The Euphoria snippet sounds good though I don't really see her doing a full album of that type of songs ?

But if confirms she's definitely back to a pop/electro/r&b era

Euphoria would be cute if it were a David Guetta collab or something like that. It's not the direction she needs to go but who knows, maybe there's room for it at some point.
