After watching the Grammys I always feel kinda sad thinking how underrated Demi is by the whole industry and all because she's never truly blown up the charts. I really hope the next era brings her some recognition because it's about time someone as talented as her gets some love by the industry after so many years.

Unfortunately, the Grammys have always been more about commercial success than talent. In Demi's case, despite her undeniable talent, she has always been outshone in terms of success. I still hope that we will see her receive a Grammy someday, but I fear that we need a big hit on the charts to get there.

 

Let's hope Demi has her espresso/good luck babe moment this year.

 

Btw Island Records had a very good night yesterday. They better save their money for Demi.

Yeah, it's sad because she's never really stood a chance with so many other artists getting huge hits. And even when she's got success, other factors have played against her (like getting snubbed over other artists more appreciated by the committee). She can never really win in this case. Either she gets a massive hit or she's taking nothing home. 

It's honestly a crime that she doesn't have a Grammy yet...

TMYLM definitely deserved a Grammy, that album was a masterpiece.

Hopefully her new era will be big and she'll finally have her year.

At this point, I think only RAYE could be but only based on the fact that Demi keeps commenting under her posts.

Gotta be honest, I think her most clear win should've been Sober but the fact that it wasn't even nominated was criminal. I'm sorry, I like Gaga but nominating that album track AND winning over Sober was such a robbery. That song should've been her first win.

Damn... a Demi and CoCo track would've been fire. RAYE is amazing too though

 

I'm actually surprised it wasn't nominated. With how personal and raw it was, I agree it should've been her first win. Even my mom is like Sober is her best song, I love it and how personal it is. Like yes mama stan.

 

Yeah she was up against strong pop albums, it was obvious she wasn't going to win. But still great she was nominated.

I swear to god if she is in the lazy mood she's been for dancing with the devil and holy **** she can keep the new era to herself. I will drag her if we've been waiting for 3 years only for her to care about the new era for a month like the last two. 

We need her to book performances. We need music videos. We need singles. We need a global tour, even if it's short. We need some relevant collab. We've suffered this "I don't care about success" mindset for too long now, but reality is that she's lazy as ****. 

I think this is a tease. By the end of this month we SHOULD have something at least announced

Comments are all positive and many are asking for new music. She needs to play her cards right with tiktok... I hope Brendon doesn't fail us  

Btw, her discography has seen a small increase on Spotify. I think it's due to La La Land and Here We Go Again going viral on tiktok recently, but it's has affected other songs too.
