I’m so jealous of Beyoncé’s current second fanbase. When will we ever get the annoucement for act II? 

 

im so mad she announced all those other acts, the visual teasers and then CRICKETTTTTTTT. The other lady already planning to drop her third album since IM THAT GIRL teaser dropped   She should had just said nothing, announce nothing then I would not be feeling like this 

I bet she thinks she’s eating with her marketing tactics

I caught myself thinking the same thing when I woke up this morning and saw the announcement! They're being FED!

I wouldn't even be mad if Beyoncé decided to do the same thing with her first album. (It would actually give me the chance to fall in love with it...)

I want her to rework some of  her older songs and put them in one album the way she reworked CUFF IT

Bey probably thinks its super corny to rerecord old songs and that this would only result in the songs losing their magical touch aka devalueing the original. So not gonna happen

No. I do not want re-recording. 

 

I've always realized B never looked back to her past and probably this is the reason why she never acknowledged any of her album except Lemonade.

 

Any other artist who re-record or re-releaed their albums are normally a hasbeen or still living in their glory era. (Gaga's BTW, Avrilavigne, Demi)

I for one thinks it's a nice gift for the fans. Ariana is rerecording some songs (?) of her first album to celebrate it being 10 years old, and it will be really interesting to hear her new voice on these few tracks. And to me she's not hasbeen.

It's a nice way to "create" content for the fans with a bit less work.

kinda bleak that the only thing we can look forward to these days are new gowns and a new pair of clunky sunglasses 

 

if she did 3 new songs every date > debuting hit or miss outfits 24/7

I wouldn't really want re-recordings but hearing her perform old songs that she hasn't done in more than 10-15 years would be a joy 

Looking back I feel we were all too hard on the 98-out song. It just came on on shuffle and the nostalgia induced chills hit me hard.

What's actually underrated is her Can You Feel the Love Tonight cover. I've been listening to it a lot these days.

She sounds absolutely divine on that

TG was one of the worst eras ever (based on the way they handled it). I don't know who cosigned the mess that was releasing a parent album for The Lion King first and then a few days later TG which didnt make any sense and was just confusing. Add to that the cover that didnt say anything, her refusing to show up for The Lion King and doing press, etc.

You can literally take TG as an example of all the things you can do wrong from a marketing standpoint. Just so so bad.

 

Bigger, Spirit, Find Your Way Back, and Brown Skin Girl couldve been huge moments. She couldve done a medley of Otherside, Bigger and Spirit (with an African Choir) at the Oscars and it wouldve been a MOMENT.

same, like re-recordings are mostly pointless to me but god imagine if she did surprise songs every night, even just one or two… 

 

there’s so many deep cuts she either never performed or only performed once or twice and she could really shine a light on those

It's amazing, but iono why the girls were so off about it. The 98-out seemed to seal the deal, because IMO they weren't as critical when it first came out.

Bigger, Otherside, Disappear, Hello, Smash Into You, Signs, Irreplaceable, Brown Eyes, Emotions, Pretty Hurts (acoustic/jazz version), Mine... I mean she has so many Options

I think that what went wrong with Spirit was that she tried too hard to make a song that would be perfect for the film and for the awards, and the song lost a bit of spirit her songs usually have. And the placing in the movie wasn’t the best. It’s a good song, I like it. I wish it did more.

 

I wish Be Alive wasn't an OUT-OUT song. Her record would still be going on.

And she won’t do re-recordings. She’s not a certain singer-songwriter. She did do another version of Crazy in Love for a soundtrack, and I see her doing remixes like that. Otherwise, no re-recordings. What I want is a lot of live albums, like Homecoming. It was amazing. I wish we would get Renaissance live

I don’t like her website (Beyonce.com), it’s looks amateurish and why is the Renaissance vinyl still so expensive?

Doesn’t Beyoncé own all of her masters? Love her down but I think she is just as petty as the Joni Shania Ciccone songstress and would do the exact same thing to get her masters back somehow - if she didn’t already own them
