if columbia/Sony were to continue promotions via radio/playlisting then it would both cost $$$ which means a smaller profit. 
 

That could be said if this were a Marry the Night or New Romantics. OMG has yet to touch US or UK TV screens. 

30 doesn't have that crowd please ballads like 21 and 25 which is Adele's main strength

The massive success of Rolling in the Deep, Set Fire to the Rain or to a smaller extent Send My Love, prove that she doesn't really need to release a "conventional" ballad to find success and that it's not necessarily what the public wants from her. Honestly, I don't think Cry Your Heart Out or All Night Parking were potential hits but it would've been a great way to show people that there are other aspects on the album than the typical sad ballads.

 

That's what I like so much about 30, she stepped out of her comfort zone and did something different here and there and I'm frustrated that she didn't show it more. Even during the residency, the only songs from 30 that she performs are the singles + the ballads. What about All Night Parking or Strangers by Nature ? I'm sure people would love her to sing them.

RITD and SFTTR are bangers and have good melodies, CYHO and ANP are aint it. even CIGI and OMG are no match to SML or WUTB

 

The strengths of 30 are with the ballads, but only Easy on Me is less than 5 minutes and not dragging

It’s just quick hits nowadays which has been fuelled by tiktok. If it’s not on a playlist, radio or tiktok then they just don’t care.

but 30 still remains a successful and quality album regardless if it’s charting or not

Well that's the thing about this website and stan twitter that people think more sales equals good music and less sales equals bad music. They might be laughing at Adele now but I think she's gonna have the last laugh because her music is so timeless. Out of all the artists that are popular now, I think Adele will still be in 2050.

That’s one thing I’ll forever give her credit for.

the way you can tell she genuinely enjoys making music and sharing it to her fans. Like the way she just casually dropped like 4 new songs for swifties as a thank you for the era’s tour starting .

Whereas with A everything seems like a chore to her and getting the bare minimum from her (new music) is a rarity. Also she just doesn’t have that connection towards daydreamers like Taylor does with swifties .

Not SFTTR surpassed EOM on spotify yesterday. 

 

For someone who only has 4 studio albums and 2 albums are basically unlistenable for Gen Z, I think she's doing fine on spotify. Imagine if she releases new album every year.

For a streaming poison who only has 4 albums, she's doing fine on spotify.

She should do stadiums in Europe, Asia, and NA.

Don't know why she wants to be chained in Vegas when she can travel the world and do stadiums.

It doesn't have to be 50++ stadium shows.

She can just do 20 stadiums in total at the biggest stadium  in each continent, but 360 layout like she did last time in Oceania.

If her team thinks it's expensive to do stadiums, it's not as if she needs high production stage like Madonna. People just don't care about how her stage looks like though

She can do it in 2 months and be done with it.

Vegas shows seem extensive.

Its more so Angelo and not wanting to disrupt his routine/school but she could easily tour during his school breaks.
