Female, although I doubt any big male released that year so it's probably #2 overall as well.

Truly an example of how hits do not equal impact, how commercial success does not mean quality or respect, and that putting out quality work even if the public is not at that moment ready for it is better than trend-chasing and the music being stuck in the year it was made.

Seems like it might get passed by The Twilight Saga Soundtrack and Torches X by Foster The People this year

 

But 2B is still impressive and maybe she can do something to revive her recurrent streams. If she cares at all

Mess, I always thought TC and plus were released in 2012 and Xmas in 2010  

Like, from the way people talk about hits and their importance it really is astounding that an album with a singles peak run of #29, #16, #50, #20, #71 (on the Hot 100) is outstreaming albums with chart runs like (without naming any names):

 

• #1, #10, #3, #6
• #1, #3, #1, #7, #55
• #1, #14, #31
• #1, #1, #49
• etc...

Can someone post the stats of Femme Fatale and BTW because that’s what it was being compared to back then. How are they doing 

Loving how it didn’t spawn any top tens but managed to out-stream the other girls that year bar Adele. Bey’s biggest “flop” of a solo album did that 

Actually is DIL the album I hear the most complains, about how it sounds dated and having a lot of filler.

DIL has more than 1B streams and was released in 2003. It’s doing amazing. And way ahead of others except Evanescence’s album. As usual, you have nothing to contribute. 
 

 

Still remembering how ATRL was celebrating the end of her career with that one. If only they knew what was coming after
