its insane that mariah is on this list despite being basically a late 80s musician turned 90s popstar 

Wow, I didn't realize Taylor had so many solo #1s! That's pretty amazing.

 

I wonder how many Rih would have by now if she continued releasing new music. Still, impressive that she managed to stay near the top for so long without releasing new (solo) material in over half a decade. 

 

Mariah having #1s in all subsequent decades ('00s, '10s and '20s) since her debut in the '90s is on another level of LEGENDARY at this point. She'll continue to dominate every Christmas season as well.

No, See You Again was too strong of a song for Bad Blood to reach #1 w/o its remix. The next week BB fell back to #2 & SYA rose back to #1. I wasn't (and still ain't) a SYA fan, but it was a huge hit. BBs original did outlast its remix but still needed the remix to hit #1.
