Because a radio playing a song takes time, while streams for spotify can be counted for the first 30 seconds of the song.

iHeart is more like a streaming service as well

you choose one song/artist you like and then it plays songs based on that artist so like mentioned above it a streaming service like Spotify can have a song with 1 Billion streams then so can iHeart

but there are billions of people who use Spotify/YouTube/streaming services, but only a handful of iheartradio stations, so this number definitely includes something else bc it's just not logical smh

It got 1 Billion audience from spins which means that it collectively reached an amount of 1 billion listeners of all the times it was played on the radio since the release. That's very achievable considering top songs on the US radio have 100/150M audience alone.
