I hate that we don't really have official WW numbers. IFPI needs to get with the times

Not 80+% of that number being the US

1. She moved a million units in China alone.
 

2. UWC has been archaic for a long time now, they don’t count Asian countries when they should.

 

3. She had virtually no physical copies available outside of the US first week.

 

4. Do you really want to try it when Folklore’s first week sales outside of the US (1.1M, confirmed by the label themself) outsold some other album’s 2-month total? 
 

OT: UWC is so fraudulent, they should rename it European charts tbh   Still glad she did 1M tho

Yeah sorry I got it that it could be confusing  I didn't think of that interpretation on first thought cause you know... If there's one thing you really can't shade regarding miss Taylor, it's her selling power

thats 170k globally. and even then UWC numbers are sus and downplayed as hell.

 

UK and the EU rarely make even the smashest of smash albums reach 100k in a week.

 

The raw numbers are what matters and globally relative to every market, Taylor is global. Deal with it

that being said you cant compare her zero promo, completely folk album to what is a future album by the biggest boyband on the planet with a fully English Pop Radio single.

 

when all is said and done BTS new era will probably end at 4M WW in pure, Folklore at 3M. Not really that big of a difference given the circumstances

Looks like Bts will release new album so second place looks more likely. 

I try to order 2 copies from amazon UK but every time i press for the order to proceed, the page goes blank and says "error". Does anyone know the reason? Or where else can i find it? I 'm not very familiar with online shopping. Thanks
